SEMAGLUTIDE/TIRZEPATIDE
FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Hawaii Natural Medicine understands that weight loss programs are not one size fits all. We are now offering semaglutide and tirzepatide therapy as a part of our weight loss approach.

What Are They?

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are peptides used in type II diabetes and weight management. These are the ingredients in popular brands such as Wegovy, Ozempic, Rybelsus, Mounjaro and Zepbound.

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1) analog. GLP-1 is a hormone produced in the small intestine that stimulates insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon secretion, thereby lowering blood sugar and making you feel less hungry.

Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors. GIP further stimulates insulin secretion after meals.

Unlike many other weight loss medications, these medications can be used for long-term weight loss management.
